Singapore-based United Overseas Bank (UOB) Group opened a new branch on Friday in Shenyang, capital of Northeast China's Liaoning Province.

Wee Cho Yaw, UOB Group's chairman and CEO, said the bank will work closely with the local business community to push forward Liaoning-Singapore economic cooperation.

UOB is the fourth foreign bank to establish a branch in Shenyang.
