The Seventh China International Equipment Manufacturing Exposition (CIEME) opened in Shenyang International Exposition Center on Sep 1. The Equipment Manufacturing Exposition will be held from Sep 1 to Sep 5. According to the local press, the subject of the exposition is “high technology and equipment manufacture”. The exposition opens to citizens in Shenyang for free.

China International Equipment Manufacturing Exposition (CIEME) is a state-approved exposition which is sponsored by The Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China, State Council's Office of the Leading Croup for Revitalizing Northeast China and Other Old Industrial Bases, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) and Liaoning Provincial People's Government. It is jointly organized by Shenyang Municipal People's Government, CCPIT Liaoning Sub-Council, Shenyang Renaissance International Exhibitions Co., Ltd., etc.

CIEME gained high tribute from national government agencies and strong response from both the international and domestic manufacturing industry. CIEME 2008 covers 2,774 exhibition booths.
