Wearing Chinese traditional costumes, the tourism guides and inspectors in Shenyang Imperial Palace welcomed visitors on August 4. In Shenyang Imperial Palace, the culture features of Qing Dynasty become another scenery. Many tourists come here not only to visit the palace, but also to feel the traditional culture. 

There are all together six inspectors wearing the traditional costumes in Qing Dynasty. They are all volunteers from the colleges in Shenyang. The inspectors inspect the palace 5 times in the morning, 7 times in the afternoon with a wooden knife, which weighs 5 jin.

There are three new exhibitions are on display in Shenyang Imperial Palace now: the Exhibition of Chairman Mao’s Calligraphy, the Exhibition of Emperor Kangxi’s Calligraphy and the Exhibition of Qing Dynasty’s Jade.

During the Olympic Games, the tourism guides in Shenyang Imperial Palace will welcome visitors with three foreign languages: English, Japanese and Korean. All the guides in the important exhibition halls can make the introduction in English, some of the guides can introduce in Japanese and Korean.
