China successfully lunches a new generational polar orbiting meteorological satellite FengyunⅢat Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center today.
This new satellite will service for the weather forecast of Beijing Olympic Games and it has been brought into the newly satellite net by World Meteorological Organization(WMO).
This satellite launch is the first satellite launch since Sichuan earthquake happened and it is also the 106th space flight of the Changzheng series carrier rockets
