Min dechun, a peasant of Liaozhong County, Shenyang held an exhibition of coins and receipts in Tiexi District in 3, July. He told the journalist that all the items on display were collected by himself and the purpose of holding such an exhibition was to celebrate the coming 30 years of China’s reform and opening-up.

Min dechun was born in 1942, and he is one of the members of Shenyang Collection Association now. He said that he began to collect coins and receipts since 1977 and now his collection was over 4000 different types, like the coins and notes of different periods of China--- Qing Dynasty, Republic of China and People’s Republic of China. He told the journalist that he had been to most part of China to buy coins and receipts. Since China’s reform and opening-up, the peasants became richer than before and began to pay more attention to their cultural lives. The purpose of holding such an exhibition was to tell the peasants that the process of China’s economic development and he hoped that the peasants in China would cherish the results brought by the reform and opening-up.
