Laotian Prime Minister Bouasone Bouphavanh paid a visit on Saturday to Shenyang, capital of northeast China's Liaoning Province.
Bouasone visited the Museum of the Imperial Palace of the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911), two local industrial works, and held talks with the province's governor Zhang Wenyue. Both of them agreed to enhance cooperation in various fields, especially in exchanging experience in reforms of state-owned enterprises.
Bouasone arrived in Beijing on Wednesday, kicking off a seven-day official visit to China. This is his first official visit to China since taking office in June 2006.
Besides Beijing and Liaoning, Bouasone is also scheduled to visit Hunan and Yunnan provinces, in south and southwest China respectively. (Xinhua.com)
