The China Southern Airlines Saturday inaugurated its first direct flight between Shenyang and Irkutsk.

The airline plans to offer two flights weekly with one on every Monday and the other on Saturday with room for 151 passengers.

The new Shenyang to Irkutsk flight is the only direct flight between Shenyang and Russia, according to local newspaper.
